"I can't take communion or go to church because demons will attack me more strongly there."
How it sounds in your head: Every time I try to get close to God or go to church, things get worse - more dark thoughts, more attacks. The enemy must be trying to keep me away, which means I'm too spiritually weak to be there.
"Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching."
-- Hebrews 10:25Enemy uses reverse psychology - making avoidance feel spiritual ('I'm being attacked') when isolation is his actual goal, cutting the believer off from community and grace.
Symptoms genuinely intensify when he attempts spiritual connection, which feels like confirmation that he's under special attack. The 'increased warfare means you're a threat' teaching makes avoidance feel like evidence of importance.
Woman ceremonially unclean for 12 years, religiously forbidden from crowds or temple - pushed through the crowd anyway, touched Jesus, and was IMMEDIATELY healed. Her 'uncleanness' didn't disqualify her; her desperation qualified her.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm too attacked to approach God. IT IS WRITTEN to NOT forsake assembling together - no exclusions for those under spiritual warfare. IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus invites the WEARY and HEAVY LADEN, not the spiritually polished. The woman with the issue of blood was ceremonially unclean but touched Jesus anyway and was instantly healed. The BARAK blessing doesn't exclude the struggling. I belong in His presence ESPECIALLY when I'm hurting.
Your Father isn't protecting the sanctuary from you - He's running toward you through the crowd, feeling the power leave Him as you touch His robe in desperation, turning to call you DAUGHTER while religion says you're unclean.
