"I can't fulfill my God-given purpose with these limitations."
How it sounds in your head: You had dreams—ministry, missions, making a difference. But those visions were for a version of you that could do more, go more, be more. Now you're stuck managing limitations instead of changing the world. Maybe God's plan A was for someone else, and you're just trying to survive plan B.
"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope."
-- Jeremiah 29:11Enemy strategy: linking purpose to ability instead of obedience, stealing destiny through comparison to an imagined 'complete' version of yourself.
The doors that seemed open before your limitation now feel closed. The calling you sensed requires a mobility, energy, or capacity you no longer have. The gap between who you thought you'd be and who you are now feels like a locked gate to your destiny.
Moses had a speech impediment and tried to disqualify himself from leading Israel out of Egypt, saying 'I am slow of speech and slow of tongue.' God's response? 'Who has made man's mouth?...Now therefore, go, and I will be with your mouth.' God sent him anyway, stutter and all, and Moses led the greatest deliverance in Old Testament history.
I REFUSE the lie that my limitations disqualify me from my God-given purpose. IT IS WRITTEN that God's thoughts toward me are of peace, not evil, to give me a FUTURE and a HOPE—and that future is ACTIVE, not expired. My calling was never based on my physical ability; it's based on His ANOINTING. IT IS WRITTEN that He who began a good work in me will COMPLETE it until the day of Christ Jesus. Moses stuttered. Paul had a thorn. Jacob limped. And God used them POWERFULLY. I am not plan B. I am the EXACT person God intended to fulfill the EXACT purpose He designed for me, limitations included. I am anointed. I am called. I am equipped by HIS strength, not mine.
The Father isn't rewriting your purpose because your body changed—He's whispering, 'I knew this day would come, and I STILL chose you. My calling is irrevocable, and My power perfects in your weakness. You're not disqualified; you're perfectly positioned for what I've prepared.'
