"I attributed something good to Satan instead of God and committed blasphemy of the Spirit."
How it sounds in your head: You questioned whether that healing was really from God. You wondered if that 'word' was demonic. You've been so burned by charismatic excess that you called something evil that might have been the Holy Spirit. That's the ONE sin Jesus said wouldn't be forgiven.
"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love."
-- 1 John 4:18Source: Misunderstanding of Matthew 12:31-32, weaponized by the enemy to create paralyzing fear in discerning believers.
You've been cautious about attributing things to God after seeing manipulation and false prophets, and in that caution you may have rejected something genuinely from the Spirit. The fact that this is called the ONE unforgivable sin makes every moment of skepticism feel potentially damning.
Paul actively persecuted the church, called Jesus a false messiah, and KILLED Christians while attributing the early church's work to demonic deception. He later wrote he obtained mercy because 'I did it ignorantly in unbelief'—and became the primary apostle to the Gentiles. INSTANT conversion, no probation.
I REFUSE the lie that sincere caution about spiritual things equals blasphemy of the Spirit. IT IS WRITTEN: perfect love casts out fear. My very concern proves the Spirit is convicting, not condemning. Paul called Jesus a false messiah and killed Christians—he got instant conversion. The BARAK blessing meant God protected Abraham even when he doubted God's promise and took Hagar. IT IS WRITTEN in Psalm 103:12 - my transgressions are removed as far as east from west. If I were capable of the unforgivable sin, I wouldn't care that I committed it.
The Father isn't looking for reasons to condemn your skepticism but understands that you've been wounded by religious manipulation. While you're afraid you crossed a line, He's waiting to show you that healthy discernment isn't rebellion—and your very fear of grieving Him is evidence your heart is tender toward Him, not hardened.
