"God's delay means I missed my window—it's too late for me."
How it sounds in your head: There was a time when this could have happened, but I'm past it now. God had a window, and I missed it. Other people get their breakthrough in their prime. Mine would have mattered then. Now I'm just waiting to die.
"So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you."
-- Joel 2:25Enemy + Religion—the lie that God operates within human 'windows' and that His promises have expiration dates based on age or circumstance.
Everything in the natural screams 'too late'—body failing, opportunities gone, peers already dead. Logic says windows close and this one shut years ago.
Caleb was 85 years old and declared, 'Give me this mountain!' God gave him the mountain with the giants on it—Caleb conquered it in his eighties, proving God's promises don't have age limits or expiration dates.
I REFUSE the lie that I missed my window. IT IS WRITTEN that God will restore the years the locust has eaten. There are no expiration dates on God's promises. Caleb got his mountain at 85. Moses led millions at 80. My age is not a disqualification—it's a setup for restoration glory. IT IS WRITTEN that I am blessed with the BARAK of Abraham, blessed in my latter days as in my beginning. God is restoring what was lost. I have not missed anything. My NOW is His perfect time.
The Father isn't counting the years you 'lost'—He's restoring them. Like He did for Job in one day, He delights in giving back what was taken, multiplied. Your past doesn't disqualify your future. He's running toward you with restoration that defies the calendar.
