"God won't waste resources on someone so close to death—provision is for those with future left."
How it sounds in your head: Why would He invest in you now? You're in your nineties. It's not good stewardship to pour resources into someone who might die tomorrow. Provision is for people who have time to use it, to be productive, to give back. You're past usefulness.
"They shall still bear fruit in old age; They shall be fresh and flourishing."
-- Psalm 92:14Source: World's utilitarian value system that measures worth by productivity and future contribution, making God's provision conditional on usefulness rather than covenant love.
The proximity of death makes every provision feel wasteful from a business perspective. She measures her value by what she can still produce or contribute, and imminent death feels like disqualification.
At 85 years old, when others were settling down and retiring, Caleb asked for the MOUNTAIN with GIANTS on it—the hardest territory. God gave him supernatural strength, and he conquered it completely. His age didn't disqualify him from impossible assignments and full provision for the battle—he was as strong at 85 as he was at 40.
I REFUSE the lie that my proximity to death makes me unworthy of provision. IT IS WRITTEN that I shall STILL bear fruit in old age, that I shall be FRESH and FLOURISHING. I am not past usefulness—I am IN CHRIST, and He came to give me ABUNDANT LIFE with no age limit. Caleb conquered giants at 85. Moses led a nation at 80. IT IS WRITTEN that I am blessed coming in and going out, that God commands blessing on my storehouses. The BARAK blessing is mine until my last breath and BEYOND. My Father doesn't calculate worth by years remaining—He celebrates me because I am HIS, precious, valued, FLOURISHING even now.
Your Father doesn't see you as a bad investment nearing expiration—He sees you as His FLOURISHING daughter in whom He delights to pour abundance. Even if you had one day left, His love would make lavish provision WORTH IT because you are priceless to Him, and He wastes nothing on those He adores.
