"God won't heal me until I discover what sin opened the door."
How it sounds in your head: There must be something I did—unforgiveness, bitterness, hidden sin. Maybe I opened a spiritual door and until I find it and confess it, the sickness stays. I've been searching my past for what I did wrong.
"And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you ALL trespasses."

Some teachings connect sickness to 'open doors,' making healing feel like detective work. The sickness persists, so the logic says the door hasn't been found and closed yet.
Four friends lowered him through the roof to Jesus—Jesus said, 'Your sins are forgiven,' THEN 'Rise, take up your bed and walk.' Forgiveness and healing in one moment, no sin inventory required, no waiting period, IMMEDIATE wholeness.
I REFUSE the lie that I must find hidden sin before healing comes. IT IS WRITTEN that He forgave me ALL trespasses—not the ones I remember but ALL, past tense, finished work. The paralytic didn't search his past; Jesus spoke forgiveness and healing in one breath. IT IS WRITTEN in Romans 8:1 there is NO condemnation for those in Christ—not 'no condemnation once you find every sin.' I am forgiven, period. The blood of Jesus covers what I can't remember. I receive healing NOW.
Your Father isn't holding healing ransom until you discover the magic sin—He already covered ALL sin at the cross, and He's running toward you with healing in His hands while you're still covered in the mess, just like the prodigal.
