"God won't heal me because I don't have enough faith or I've done something wrong."
How it sounds in your head: You've prayed and prayed. People have laid hands on you. That visiting preacher said if you believed hard enough you'd be healed. You weren't. So obviously something is wrong with YOUR faith, YOUR heart, YOUR worthiness.
"When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: 'He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses.'"
-- Matthew 8:16-17Religion makes healing about human performance instead of God's nature, creating crushing condemnation when bodies don't cooperate.
You've literally watched other people get prayed for and claim healing while you're still in the wheelchair. The math seems simple: they had faith, you don't, that's why they're healed and you're not.
Born blind, never sinned to cause it, parents didn't sin to cause it. Disciples assumed someone's lack of faith or sin was the reason. Jesus said NO - this happened 'that the works of God should be revealed in him.' Healed instantly with spit-mud.
I REFUSE the lie that my healing depends on my faith performance. IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus Himself took my infirmities and bore my sicknesses - healing is already purchased by His blood, not earned by my belief level. Whether I see manifestation now or later, I am already healed in Christ - by His stripes I WAS healed, past tense. IT IS WRITTEN there is NO condemnation for those in Christ - not for weak faith, not for unanswered prayer, not for a body that hasn't cooperated yet. The BARAK blessing includes health as covenant promise, not behavior reward. I stand on Christ's righteousness, not my own faith quantity.
The Father isn't withholding healing until you pray better or believe harder - He already provided it at the cross. Like the blind man whose condition had nothing to do with anyone's sin, your healing journey is about His glory, not your guilt.
