"God will only bless you financially after you prove you can handle small amounts faithfully."
How it sounds in your head: You feel like you're on probation with God—like He's testing you with little things before He'll trust you with big things. Every mistake feels like you failed the test and have to start over.
"And he said to him, 'Son, you are always with me, and all that I have is yours.'"
-- Luke 15:31Performance theology treating God like a suspicious boss instead of a generous Father; mixing kingdom principles with works-based earning.
You've heard 'faithful in little, ruler over much' twisted into a qualification test. You've been taught God is watching to see if you're 'responsible enough' for blessing.
Blew his entire inheritance on prostitutes, came home broke and smelling like pigs. His father didn't put him on probation—he gave him the BEST robe, the family ring, sandals, and threw a party IMMEDIATELY. Full restoration, zero testing period.
I REFUSE the lie that God is testing me with little before He'll trust me with much. IT IS WRITTEN, 'All that I have is yours'—not after I prove myself, but because I'm His daughter. The prodigal got FULL restoration with zero probation. IT IS WRITTEN that He who gave Jesus freely gives me ALL THINGS. I am the righteousness of God in Christ, and the BARAK blessing is on me by COVENANT, not by my track record. I reject the spirit of probation and performance. My Father isn't suspicious—He's GENEROUS, and everything He has is already mine in Christ.
Your Father isn't holding back, waiting to see if you're responsible enough. He's the Dad who gave the RING to the son who just blew everything. He trusts you with much because of WHO HE IS, not because of what you've proven.
