"God used me in my prime, but now He's moved on to younger, stronger workers."
How it sounds in your head: I had my season of ministry, my years of impact. God's doing something new with the next generation. I'm grateful for what was, but that chapter is closed. He's done with me.
"For He Himself has said, 'I will never leave you nor forsake you.'"
-- Hebrews 13:5Religious lie treating God like corporate manager who trades up for newer models.
Leadership roles passed to younger men, energy for ministry decreased, Bible studies led by next generation. Feels benched after years on the field.
Exiled on Patmos island as an elderly man, isolated and seemingly forgotten. God gave him the ENTIRE book of Revelation—the final word of Scripture—in his old age, proving God saves some of His biggest assignments for the finish line.
I REFUSE the lie that God is done with me. IT IS WRITTEN that He will NEVER leave me nor forsake me—His commitment has no age limit. The world benches the elderly; Heaven positions them for assignments requiring decades of intimacy. God doesn't trade up for newer models—He treasures TESTED vessels. IT IS WRITTEN that I still bear fruit in old age. I am Abraham's seed, blessed with the BARAK that flows across every season. My latter years are not leftovers but LEGACY time. God is not finished with me; He's REFINING me for what only mature sons can carry.
The Father hasn't moved on—He's leaning in closer, whispering assignments into your ear that only someone who's walked with Him this long can handle. You're not benched; you're being positioned for the plays that win the game in the final seconds.
