"God must want me to have this pain for some reason I don't understand."
How it sounds in your head: If God is sovereign and all-powerful, and I'm still in pain after years of prayer, maybe this is His will. Maybe He's teaching me something. Maybe I'm supposed to suffer like Job did. I don't want to presume to tell God what to do or question His plan for my life.
"How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him."
-- Acts 10:38Religious lie making God the author of suffering, twisting sovereignty into sadism and redefining the cross as incomplete.
He's been taught 'God's ways are higher' and not to question. The persistence of pain despite sincere prayer suggests either his faith failed or God said no. Attributing pain to God's purpose feels more spiritual than admitting confusion.
Bent over for eighteen years, unable to straighten up. Jesus said SATAN had bound her. When He called her forward and spoke, 'IMMEDIATELY she was made straight, and glorified God.' Jesus didn't say, 'Father's teaching you humility'—He said, 'Satan bound you,' and SET HER FREE.
I REFUSE the lie that my pain is God's will. IT IS WRITTEN: Jesus healed ALL oppressed by the DEVIL—pain is the enemy's work, not the Father's plan. God is not teaching me through torment; Jesus DESTROYED the devil's works at the cross. I reject the religious lie that makes God look like Satan. IT IS WRITTEN: 'Every good gift comes from the Father of lights' (James 1:17). Pain is NOT a good gift. I am the woman bent over, and Jesus is saying TODAY: 'Be loosed.' I stand STRAIGHT, pain-free, in Jesus' name.
The Father is NOT the one holding pain over your head like a lesson plan—He's the one who DESTROYED the works causing it. He's running toward you like the prodigal's father, wanting to REMOVE what religion blamed Him for, restoring you immediately because that's who He is.
