"God made a mistake with my body; I wasn't supposed to be born this way."
How it sounds in your head: If God is perfect, why am I broken? This disability feels like a divine error, a glitch in the system. Maybe I slipped through flawed, a rough draft instead of the finished product everyone else got to be.
"So the LORD said to him, 'Who has made man's mouth? Or who makes the mute, the deaf, the seeing, or the blind? Have not I, the LORD?'"

Every medical complication feels like evidence of wrongness. She sees 'fearfully and wonderfully made' embroidered on nursery walls and wonders if that verse excludes her diagnosis.
Born blind, everyone assumed it was punishment for sin—his or his parents'. Jesus said NO—'that the works of God should be revealed in him.' His disability wasn't a mistake or curse; it was a setup for glory. Born this way ON PURPOSE.
I REFUSE the lie that my body is a divine error. IT IS WRITTEN that the LORD Himself makes the deaf, the mute, the blind—I am not flawed, I am CRAFTED. My diagnosis was written in His book before I was born, and nothing about me surprised Him. IT IS WRITTEN that I am fearfully and wonderfully made, which includes every chromosome, every gene, every difference. I am blessed coming in and going out, above and not beneath—designed this way for glory. The BARAK blessing covers me, not in spite of my disability, but INCLUDING it as part of God's intentional design.
The Father isn't apologizing for how He made you—He's RUNNING toward you with arms wide, declaring you are exactly what He intended, a masterpiece designed for works prepared in advance. He's been celebrating your design since before the foundation of the world.
