"God is withholding financial breakthrough until I prove I can handle it responsibly."
How it sounds in your head: He's testing you. Once you demonstrate better stewardship, THEN He'll bless. You haven't proven yourself faithful with little. You're in the waiting room until you mature.
"And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus."
-- Philippians 4:19Performance-based prosperity gospel that makes God a cosmic withholder waiting for human perfection before releasing provision.
The breakthrough hasn't come yet, so you assume there must be a test you're failing. Church teaching says God tests before promoting.
Proved he was the WORST steward possible—blew everything on prostitutes. Came home expecting servant status. Father gave ring (authority), robe (identity), sandals (sonship) IMMEDIATELY, before any proof of change, before cleanup, based solely on relationship.
I REFUSE the lie that God is withholding until I prove myself. IT IS WRITTEN in Philippians 4:19 that He supplies according to HIS RICHES, not my performance. The prodigal got ring and robe BEFORE proving anything. Luke 15:20 says the Father RAN while he was still far off. IT IS WRITTEN in Romans 8:32 that He who gave His Son will 'freely give us all things.' The word is FREELY—not conditionally. I am the righteousness of God in Christ RIGHT NOW. The BARAK blessing isn't waiting for my improvement—it's mine by covenant. I receive supernatural supply flowing NOW, not after I prove anything.
Your Father isn't waiting in heaven with His arms crossed saying 'show Me'—He's running toward you with ring and robe in His hands RIGHT NOW. Provision flows from position, not performance.
