"God is withholding children from me because I'm not spiritually ready or mature enough to be a mother."
How it sounds in your head: I watch women who seem less committed to God get pregnant easily while I'm doing everything 'right' and still waiting. Maybe I need to pray more, read my Bible more consistently, or deal with some hidden sin before God trusts me with a child. Every month without pregnancy feels like God saying 'not yet, you're not ready.'
"He grants the barren woman a home, like a joyful mother of children. Praise the LORD!"

She sees women who aren't walking with God get pregnant accidentally while she's desperately seeking God and waiting. Churches teach about 'preparing yourself' and 'God's timing' which sounds like she hasn't done enough to qualify yet.
Hannah was bitter, weeping, unable to eat, so distraught she appeared drunk - not exactly the picture of spiritual maturity. The LORD remembered her, and she conceived and bore a son - God responded to her PAIN, not her spiritual performance level.
I REFUSE the lie that God is grading my spiritual maturity before releasing children to me. IT IS WRITTEN that He grants the barren woman a home like a joyful mother of children - not because she earned it, but because that's WHO HE IS. I am already righteous by the blood of Jesus, not by my prayer time or Bible reading consistency. IT IS WRITTEN that there is NO CONDEMNATION for those in Christ - God is not withholding conception as punishment or motivation for spiritual growth. I receive children as a GIFT of grace, the same way the thief received paradise - instantly, based on God's goodness, not my readiness. The BARAK blessing makes me fruitful regardless of my spiritual performance.
The Father isn't waiting for you to achieve some spiritual maturity level before trusting you with a baby - He's the Father who gave Hannah a child when she was bitter and broken, responding to her PAIN not her spiritual GPA. He's running toward you with the gift of conception in His hands right now, not because you've done enough devotionals, but because He delights in making barren women sing.
