The secret sins are real, the business failure is real, and the timing feels too coincidental. When bad things happen after hidden sin, it feels like obvious cause-and-effect punishment.
David committed adultery AND murder—two capital crimes. Nathan confronted him, David repented, and God IMMEDIATELY said, 'The Lord has put away your sin; you shall not die.' Though consequences remained, God's favor didn't leave—David's next son was SOLOMON, through whom the Messianic line continued.
I REFUSE the lie that God is punishing my business because of my sin. IT IS WRITTEN that He has forgiven me ALL trespasses and nailed them to the cross. ALL means the secret ones too. There is NOW no condemnation for me in Christ Jesus—not less condemnation, ZERO. IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus didn't come to condemn the world but to SAVE it. My Father isn't an angry accountant balancing ledgers; He's the Dad who ran to the prodigal while he still smelled like pigs. The business closure isn't punishment—and even if consequences exist, His FAVOR never left. I am the righteousness of God in Christ, and that's a GIFT, not a trophy.
Your Father already punished your sin—He punished JESUS for it. There's nothing left to punish you with. He's not mad. He's not distant. He's running toward you with the robe, ring, and sandals, even knowing every secret. Especially knowing every secret.
