"God is disappointed in my family and won't bless me like kids with normal homes."
How it sounds in your head: When everyone talks about their family dinners and vacations, I feel invisible. God probably has favorites - the kids whose parents stay together. I'm in the second-tier Christian category now.
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ."

Church culture celebrates intact families, Mother's Day and Father's Day hurt, she sees other kids with both parents at events. The evidence looks like God blesses 'normal' families more.
Separated from his birth family, raised in a split household between Egyptian royalty and Hebrew roots. God chose him to deliver an entire nation - the family disruption was part of the plan, not a disqualification.
I REFUSE the lie that my family situation limits God's blessing. IT IS WRITTEN that I am blessed with EVERY spiritual blessing in Christ. Not most. Not conditional. EVERY. My Father doesn't compare my family to others - He declares me complete in Christ. IT IS WRITTEN in Colossians 2:10 that I am COMPLETE in Him. The BARAK blessing is mine - the same blessing that covered Jacob's dysfunctional family covers mine. I am the head and not the tail, above only and not beneath, regardless of my family structure. I am FAVORED.
The Father isn't comparing your family to the neighbors. He's looking at you IN CHRIST and seeing EVERY blessing already deposited in your account - the ring is on your finger, the robe is on your back, and the party is in full swing because you're HIS.
