"God has already done all He's going to do in my life."
How it sounds in your head: I've had my miracles, my answered prayers, my good years. This is just the slow decline now. The exciting stuff is over. I'm in the epilogue, not the main story anymore.
"Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ."
-- Philippians 1:6Enemy strategy to steal expectation and close the door to future miracles by convincing her God's finished with her story.
Many major life events are past—career, raising children, big milestones. Friends speak of life winding down. Physical capacity decreasing. Future looks shorter than past.
Abraham was 100 years old and Sarah was 90 when God did the MAIN miracle of their lives—Isaac's birth. Everything before was preparation; the promise came when culture would say they were 'done.' God's greatest work in them happened in their final decades, not their youth.
I REFUSE the lie that God is finished with me! IT IS WRITTEN: 'He who BEGAN a good work in me WILL COMPLETE it until the day of Jesus Christ!' I'm still IN the story, not past it. Like Abraham receiving his promised son at 100, my greatest miracles may be AHEAD, not behind. The BARAK blessing didn't peak at 40—it INCREASED through Abraham's life, multiplying wealth and influence in his 100s! IT IS WRITTEN: 'I will do a NEW thing; now it shall spring forth!' NEW thing—present and future! God saves best wine for LAST. My final chapters aren't epilogue; they're CLIMAX. Every breath means God has PURPOSE remaining. He's not done UNTIL He calls me home, and until then, I EXPECT miracles, breakthroughs, divine appointments, and MORE!
The Father isn't writing your final paragraph—He's setting up plot twists that will make earlier chapters make sense. Like the prodigal's father who had celebration planned for the 'end' that exceeded the beginning, God has saved choice blessings specifically FOR this season that will eclipse what came before.
