"God gave everyone else the desires of their heart, but forgot about mine."
How it sounds in your head: I've watched everyone else's prayers get answered. Marriages, babies, dream jobs, healings. I've been praying for this one thing for years and it feels like my prayers hit the ceiling. Maybe God just doesn't care about this area for me.
"Delight yourself also in the LORD, and He shall give you the desires of your heart."
-- Psalm 37:4Enemy accusation that God is selective in His goodness and unfaithful to His promises.
You've seen miraculous answers to prayer for others while your deepest desire remains unanswered. It feels personal, like God hears everyone's prayers but ignores yours. The delay feels like denial.
Barren for years while her husband's other wife had multiple children and mocked her. She wept bitterly, poured out her soul in desperation. The same day Eli blessed her, God remembered her—she conceived and bore Samuel, who became the prophet who anointed kings. Her waiting ended in sudden breakthrough.
I REFUSE the lie that God has forgotten my desires or is selective in His goodness. IT IS WRITTEN in Psalm 37:4 that as I delight in Him, He SHALL give me the desires of my heart—not might, not maybe, but SHALL. God is not a promise-breaker or a respecter of persons who blesses others but forgets me. IT IS WRITTEN that He is faithful who promised. I am under the BARAK blessing, and every promise of God is YES and AMEN in Christ. My prayers are not hitting the ceiling—they are recorded, heard, and answered according to His perfect plan. I receive His goodness NOW.
The Father hasn't forgotten you or passed you over—He's writing a testimony of faithfulness that will make others believe. He's not selective in His love; He's extravagant toward you, preparing a breakthrough that will silence every doubt and prove His goodness was there all along.
