"God forgot to give me a family because I'm not important enough"
How it sounds in your head: Everyone else has brothers, sisters, cousins, family game nights. My family is broken or distant. Maybe God just didn't care enough about me when He was handing out families.
"God sets the solitary in families; He brings out those who are bound into prosperity; but the rebellious dwell in a dry land."
-- Psalm 68:6Religious lie that God plays favorites and distributes blessings based on importance or worthiness.
Broken or distant families create deep wounds at this age when identity is forming. Seeing intact families triggers real grief and makes God feel partial.
Mephibosheth was crippled, hiding in a forgotten place, grandson of a dead king with no future. David searched for him specifically, brought him to the palace, gave him all of Saul's land, and made him eat at the king's table permanently—from forgotten to family in ONE DAY.
I REFUSE the lie that God forgot to give me family because I'm not important. IT IS WRITTEN that God sets the solitary in families. My broken family situation doesn't mean I'm forgotten—it means I'm positioned for His supernatural restoration. IT IS WRITTEN in Psalm 27:10 that when my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will take me up. I am under the BARAK blessing—the same covenant that protected Abraham's family protects mine. I receive divine family, spiritual sons and daughters, belonging that surpasses biology.
Your Father doesn't give you broken family and walk away—He's actively setting you in NEW family. Like Mephibosheth pulled from hiding to the king's table, you're being brought into belonging you didn't earn and can't lose.
