"God expected me to be leading by now instead of still being led"
How it sounds in your head: I should be mentoring younger guys, leading a small group, making an impact. Instead I'm still trying to figure out my own life. God gave me potential and I've squandered it.

You see younger guys stepping into leadership and older guys asking when you'll step up. The lack of a leadership role feels like evidence of spiritual failure and divine disappointment.
Joseph went from prison to prime minister in ONE DAY at age 30. No leadership internship, no proving himself—one dream interpretation and Pharaoh immediately put him in charge of the entire nation.
I REFUSE the lie that God measures me by leadership positions or ministry impact. IT IS WRITTEN man looks at outward appearance but God looks at the heart. I am a branch connected to the Vine, and my job is ABIDING, not producing. Fruit comes automatically from connection. The BARAK blessing on Abraham wasn't based on his leadership achievements but on COVENANT. IT IS WRITTEN I am the righteousness of God in Christ—not through platform, but through position. God doesn't need me to lead to be pleased with me. He's already singing over me.
The Father isn't waiting for you to get on a stage to be proud of you. He threw a party for a son who'd been feeding pigs—no ministry, no influence, no leadership credentials required, just sonship.
