"God could heal me but chooses not to, so I must deserve this suffering."
How it sounds in your head: You've prayed, others have prayed, nothing changed. Maybe you don't have enough faith. Maybe there's hidden sin. Maybe God's 'no' is because you're not good enough for a 'yes.' Everyone else gets their miracle testimony; you get chronic pain.
"Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed."
-- 1 Peter 2:24Religious teaching that healing is performance-based and withheld suffering is divine punishment or teaching tool.
You've done everything 'right'—prayer, anointing, fasting—and you're still sick. Meanwhile someone who 'barely believes' gets healed. It feels personal, like you're being passed over.
Born blind, disciples asked whose sin caused it—his or his parents? Jesus said NEITHER—'this happened so the works of God could be displayed.' It wasn't punishment. Then Jesus healed him INSTANTLY. The delay wasn't about worthiness; it was about timing for God's glory.
I REFUSE the lie that God is withholding healing because I deserve suffering or lack faith. IT IS WRITTEN by His stripes I WAS healed—past tense, finished work, purchased at the cross. Healing is not based on my performance; it's based on His NATURE. He is good, He gives GOOD gifts, and there is no shadow of turning in Him. The BARAK blessing covers my body—I am Abraham's seed, and sickness is part of the curse Christ REDEEMED me from. IT IS WRITTEN there is NO condemnation for those in Christ. I declare healing is my covenant right, God is not punishing me, and breakthrough is available RIGHT NOW.
Father isn't making you 'earn' healing or punishing you with sickness—He already paid for your healing at the cross and He's RUNNING toward you with it now, saying, 'This was never about your worthiness; it's about MY nature. I am good, and I give GOOD gifts.'
