"God blessed everyone else with children but passed over me - I'm forgotten."
How it sounds in your head: I watch my friends with their grandkids, great-grandkids even. God opened everyone else's womb but closed ours. It feels personal, like He just... forgot about us. Or worse, like we didn't matter enough for Him to bother.
"Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, 'I will never leave you nor forsake you.'"
-- Hebrews 13:5Enemy lie about God's favoritism and selective blessing, contradicting the covenant truth that all receive the same inheritance in Christ.
Decades of watching others receive what he prayed for creates feeling of divine neglect. Every baby announcement from others felt like confirmation God chose them over him.
Lazarus received nothing on earth - begging at a rich man's gate, covered in sores, eating crumbs. It appeared God blessed the rich man and forgot Lazarus. But angels carried Lazarus to Abraham's bosom while the rich man went to torment - God didn't forget; His blessing was eternal, not temporal.
I REFUSE the lie that God blessed others but forgot me or that His favor is selective rather than covenant-based. IT IS WRITTEN that He has said 'I will NEVER leave you nor forsake you' - not when I have children, not when circumstances look blessed, but NEVER. I am blessed with EVERY spiritual blessing in Christ, the same inheritance as every believer. IT IS WRITTEN in Romans 8:32 that He who didn't spare His own Son but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us ALL things? I am not forgotten - I am engraved on the palms of His hands.
Your Father hasn't looked at you once in 90+ years and thought 'I forgot about him.' He's been counting every hair on your head, collecting every tear in a bottle, writing your name in His book, and preparing a mansion you cannot imagine. His blessing on your life isn't measured by earthly offspring but by eternal inheritance, and you have ALL of it.
