"God answers other people's prayers but not mine—I'm just not chosen or favored."
How it sounds in your head: You see breakthrough testimonies every Sunday. Your buddy got the promotion. That guy's marriage was restored. Even new believers seem to get instant answers. But you? Crickets. Maybe God has favorites and you're not one of them. Maybe you're just not special enough to Him.
"For there is no partiality with God."
-- Romans 2:11Source: Enemy using comparison to create lie of divine favoritism, as if God has VIP children and regular children.
You genuinely see others receiving what you've been asking for. The contrast is painful. You're happy for them but secretly wondering what they have that you don't. Maybe better faith, cleaner life, more favor.
Mephibosheth was crippled, hiding in obscurity, convinced he was forgotten and worthless ('a dead dog'). King David SOUGHT HIM OUT, restored ALL of Saul's land, gave him permanent seat at the king's table, and provided for him for life—not because of anything Mephibosheth did, but because of covenant with Jonathan.
I REFUSE the lie that God has favorites and I'm not one. IT IS WRITTEN that there is NO partiality with God. I am not second-class, overlooked, or less favored than any other believer. I am chosen, accepted in the Beloved, and loved with the SAME love the Father has for Jesus. The BARAK blessing is mine by COVENANT, not by comparison. IT IS WRITTEN that I am Abraham's seed and heir according to PROMISE. Other people's breakthrough is PROOF of what God does, not evidence of what He won't do for me. I declare I am FULLY FAVORED right now.
Your Father doesn't have a favorites list with you somewhere in the middle. You are IN CHRIST—which means you have FULL ACCESS, FULL FAVOR, FULL INHERITANCE. Like Mephibosheth who thought he was forgotten, your Father has been seeking YOU out to seat you at His table and restore everything the enemy stole, simply because of covenant love.
