You did experience spiritual awakening during the crisis, and people keep saying 'God works all things for good' and 'He got your attention.' It reframes the terror into something purposeful.
Isaiah told him 'set your house in order, for you shall die and not live' from his terminal sickness. Hezekiah prayed, and before Isaiah even left the courtyard, God added 15 years to his life and healed him—INSTANT reversal of a death sentence.
I REFUSE the lie that God gave me cancer to get my attention. IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus healed all who were oppressed by the devil—cancer is oppression, not divine curriculum. My Father draws me with lovingkindness, not disease. I am under the BARAK covenant where Abraham's seed receives blessing, not curse. IT IS WRITTEN that Christ redeemed me from the curse, and cancer is named in Deuteronomy 28 curses. I receive instant healing as Hezekiah did—a death sentence reversed by my Father's word. Cancer has no teaching authority in my life.
The Father didn't need to give you cancer to get close to you—He already tore the veil and gave you access to the throne of grace. He's running toward you with healing, not using disease as a relationship strategy.
