"Giving when broke is being irresponsible to my family"
How it sounds in your head: I have kids depending on me. How can I give to the church when they need school supplies, when the fridge is half-empty? Wouldn't God want me to take care of my family first? Isn't that being a good steward?
"And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus."

Her maternal instinct is fierce, and her kids' needs are tangible and urgent. Giving when they're going without feels like neglect, not faith. Society would call her irresponsible.
She had nothing, creditors were literally taking her sons as slaves, debt was impossible. Elisha told her to gather jars and pour—her tiny amount of oil multiplied until every jar was full, she sold it, paid ALL debt, and lived on the rest. One afternoon, complete turnaround.
I REFUSE the lie that providing for my family contradicts honoring God with my firstfruits. IT IS WRITTEN that my God supplies ALL my need according to HIS riches, not my resources. I am not choosing between God and my kids—I am TRUSTING God FOR my kids. The BARAK blessing declares I am blessed in my storehouse, blessed coming in and going out. IT IS WRITTEN that when I seek first His kingdom, ALL these things are ADDED to me. My children are not competing with God for provision—they are BENEFICIARIES of my obedience. I am the head and not the tail, above and not beneath, and my family eats from heaven's overflow.
The Father isn't asking you to starve your children—He's inviting you to watch Him multiply what natural math says is impossible. He's the one who fed 5,000 families with a kid's lunch and had LEFTOVERS; your obedience positions your household for His abundance.
