"Everyone who watched me fail now sees me as incapable and foolish."
How it sounds in your head: They all watched the grand opening, the social media launch, the optimistic interviews. Now they watch the closure, the silence, the retreat. I can't show my face at networking events. They whisper: 'She couldn't make it work.' I'm the cautionary tale.
"For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God."
-- Colossians 3:3Enemy strategy to isolate through shame and magnify human judgment over divine approval.
Some people have made comments, others went silent, and her imagination fills in the rest. Public failure feels more shameful than private struggle, especially for women already battling credibility questions.
Naaman was a decorated commander, mighty and honorable, but he had LEPROSY—public, visible, shameful disease. One encounter with God's prophet, seven dips in the Jordan, and his flesh was restored like a child's—instant reversal of public shame to public testimony.
I REFUSE the lie that public failure defines my identity or that human judgment has the final word. IT IS WRITTEN my life is HIDDEN with Christ in God—their opinions have no access to my true value. Naaman's shame was visible to armies; God restored him instantly and publicly. David was mocked in caves; God made him king. IT IS WRITTEN there is NO CONDEMNATION for those in Christ Jesus. I am the righteousness of God in Christ, and that identity isn't swayed by one business outcome. I condemn every tongue that rises in judgment because IT IS WRITTEN that's my heritage as the Lord's servant.
The Father isn't keeping a record of who saw you fall so He can orchestrate a comeback for vindication—He already VINDICATED you at the cross. While you hide from imagined whispers, He's preparing a TABLE before you in the presence of those very people, anointing your head with oil, making your cup overflow.
