"Everyone else has energy except me. Something is fundamentally wrong with me."
How it sounds in your head: I watch other girls run around, stay up late, do activities—and I'm over here barely making it. They're normal. I'm not. I must be broken in some way they're not.
"Do not sorrow, for the joy of the LORD is your strength."
-- Nehemiah 8:10Comparison curse making her measure God's provision by looking at others instead of His promise.
Social media shows everyone at their peak moments, never their 3pm crashes or exhausted mornings. She's comparing her 24/7 reality to everyone else's highlight reel and concluding she's uniquely defective.
Samson was BOUND with new ropes, surrounded by enemies, completely restrained and powerless in his own strength. The Spirit of the Lord came upon him and the ropes melted like burned flax—he killed 1,000 men with a donkey's jawbone, INSTANT supernatural strength from total weakness.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm uniquely broken while everyone else is strong. IT IS WRITTEN: 'The joy of the Lord is my strength'—not comparison, not my performance, not my body's cooperation. The same Spirit that enabled Samson to break ropes and defeat armies lives IN me. I am NOT measuring myself by others. I am a BRANCH in the VINE, and Jesus said apart from Him I can do NOTHING—but IN Him, fruit is AUTOMATIC. IT IS WRITTEN: 'I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.' I declare HIS joy is my strength RIGHT NOW.
The Father isn't comparing you to other girls and shaking His head in disappointment. He's running toward you with the same instant, supernatural strength that snapped Samson's ropes—strength that has nothing to do with what you see in others and everything to do with His Spirit in YOU.
