"Everyone else got their breakthrough—God must love them more than me."
How it sounds in your head: She prayed once and got healed. They trusted God and their business exploded. I've prayed for years and keep hitting walls. What's wrong with me? Why does God answer everyone but me?
"For I am the LORD, I do not change; therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob."
-- Malachi 3:6Enemy planted comparison and the lie that God has favorites based on worthiness, making her believe she's less loved.
She's genuinely witnessed others receive what she's been asking for, sometimes people less 'faithful' than her, which makes God's love feel performance-based. Her isolation in waiting while others celebrate feels like divine rejection.
Bartimaeus was a blind beggar on the roadside while countless others were being healed by Jesus in other towns. When Jesus finally came to Jericho, Bartimaeus cried out, Jesus stopped for him specifically, and he received his sight IMMEDIATELY—not because he was more worthy, but because his appointed moment came.
I REFUSE the lie that God loves others more than me. IT IS WRITTEN that He does NOT CHANGE—He has no favorites. I am not competing for His attention or affection. IT IS WRITTEN that He is no respecter of persons—what He did for them, He will do for me. My timeline is not commentary on His love; it's part of His perfect orchestration. I am the righteousness of God IN CHRIST, which means I have FULL ACCESS to everything He promised. The same blood that covers them covers me. I am His BELOVED, and my breakthrough is already prepared—I'm walking into appointed timing.
The Father isn't playing favorites while you're benched—He's running toward you with the same fierce love, the same ring, the same robe, the same party He gives every child. Your wait doesn't mean less love; it means He's preparing something so specifically YOURS that generic timing wouldn't have worked. He sees you, knows you by name, and hasn't forgotten a single prayer.
