"Everyone already has their people. I missed the window, and now it's too late to find real friends."
How it sounds in your head: Everyone paired off in college. Your coworkers have their established groups. Your small group already has history you're not part of. You're 27, and the slots are full. You missed it.
"So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust."
-- Joel 2:25Lie of timing—that God's provision is locked to human timelines and you're outside the window.
You're watching engagement announcements and baby showers for friend groups you're not in. Everyone else seems settled. You're starting over again, and it feels like you're decades behind.
This man had HOURS left to live, a lifetime of crime behind him, zero time to build relationships or prove himself. One conversation with Jesus, and he INSTANTLY received Paradise. No window missed. No too late. Just 'TODAY you will be with Me.'
I REFUSE the lie that I missed the window for real friendship. IT IS WRITTEN that God will RESTORE the years the locust has eaten—what feels lost is being recovered NOW. There is no 'too late' with my Father. IT IS WRITTEN in Ecclesiastes 3:11 that He makes everything beautiful in its time. His timing is PERFECT, and I am exactly on schedule. The BARAK blessing doesn't expire. I didn't miss it. I'm walking INTO it. I receive covenant friendships NOW, in Jesus' name.
The Father doesn't operate on human timelines—He's restoring what you thought you lost and giving you BETTER than you imagined. Like the thief on the cross, you're never too late for His promises; 'TODAY' is always available.
