"I'm socially awkward and always say the wrong thing. People tolerate me but don't actually enjoy my company."
How it sounds in your head: Every conversation feels forced. You replay interactions wondering what you said wrong. People seem relieved when you leave, and you never get the second invite.
"Then the LORD put forth His hand and touched my mouth, and the LORD said to me: 'Behold, I have put My words in your mouth.'"
-- Jeremiah 1:9Enemy replays social failures to make you self-conscious, transforming natural personality into perceived defect through constant self-monitoring.
You've had awkward moments that haunted you for weeks, and you notice how easily conversation flows for others while you struggle. Invitations feel rare and you assume it's because people merely tolerate you.
Moses called himself slow of speech and heavy of tongue, but God said 'I will be with your mouth and teach you what to say.' His supposed awkwardness led entire nations - God wasn't limited by Moses' self-perception.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm socially awkward or that people merely tolerate me. IT IS WRITTEN that God has put His words in my mouth and goes before me in every conversation. I am not defective or burdensome - I am the righteousness of God in Christ, carrying the BARAK blessing that causes people to be drawn to me supernaturally. Like Moses, my perceived weakness is the platform for God's strength. IT IS WRITTEN: My words are life and health to those who hear them. I bring blessing, not awkwardness, because I am a BRANCH connected to the VINE and life flows through me automatically.
The Father sees you as delightful, not defective. While you're replaying conversations in shame, He's celebrating how you brought His presence into that room. He's not waiting for you to be smoother - He's already putting people in your path who need YOUR specific voice, YOUR specific heart.
