"Every friendship I have eventually falls apart. I always end up alone."
How it sounds in your head: You've watched best friends drift away, group chats go silent, promises get broken. There's something about you that makes people leave eventually. You must be doing something wrong, because everyone else seems to keep their friends.
"For the mountains shall depart and the hills be removed, but My kindness shall not depart from you, nor shall My covenant of peace be removed, says the LORD, who has mercy on you."
-- Isaiah 54:10Generational pattern of abandonment the enemy is trying to convince you is YOUR fault and YOUR identity.
You have actual history of friendships ending, people moving on, feeling replaced by someone cooler. The pattern feels like proof that you're the common denominator.
David was a shepherd nobody with seven older brothers who overlooked him, yet Jonathan's soul was knit to David's INSTANTLY. Jonathan gave David his robe, armor, sword, and bow in their first meeting, a friendship so covenant it survived jealous kings and death itself.
I REFUSE the lie that my friendships always fall apart. IT IS WRITTEN that God's kindness and covenant of peace will NEVER be removed from me. Past losses do NOT dictate my future connections. IT IS WRITTEN in Proverbs 18:24 that there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother, and my Father is bringing me THAT level of friendship. The BARAK blessing breaks every pattern of abandonment over my life. I am entering a season of friendships that don't fade but FLOURISH. I am kept, chosen, and permanently connected to covenant people.
Your Father isn't waiting for you to figure out what you did wrong. He's already running toward you with friendships that WON'T end, that will celebrate you in every season, before you've earned a single thing.
