"Doctors and medicine are God's way of healing now, not supernatural miracles."
How it sounds in your head: My parents say God gave us doctors and that's how He heals today. Expecting supernatural healing is ignoring the tools God provided. Maybe miracles were just because they didn't have hospitals back then.
"If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the LORD who heals you."
-- Exodus 15:26Source: Worldly wisdom that elevates natural means above supernatural power, limiting God to what man can do.
Medicine works and is measurable. Supernatural healing feels unreliable and hard to prove. It seems more responsible to use what we can see and understand.
Sick to the point of death, told by the prophet to get his affairs in order because he would die. He prayed, and before the prophet even left the courtyard, God added FIFTEEN YEARS to his life—no doctors, no treatment, just divine decree that reversed a death sentence.
I REFUSE the lie that God only heals through medicine now. IT IS WRITTEN: I am the LORD who heals you. He is Jehovah Rapha—the God who heals—and that name hasn't changed. I honor doctors as gifts, but I don't limit God to what man can do. The BARAK blessing means divine health and supernatural protection over my body. IT IS WRITTEN that He sent His word and healed them. His word is still active, still powerful, still healing. I receive both natural help and supernatural breakthrough because my God isn't limited to one method—He's unlimited in power and creative in love.
The Father didn't downgrade from miracles to medicine. He's still the same Dad who healed the centurion's servant without even showing up, who spoke and sickness fled. He's not offended if you go to a doctor, but He's also not limited to waiting rooms and prescriptions—He can speak and cancer dies, infection leaves, bones align.
