"Doctors and medicine are God's provision now. Supernatural healing is presumptuous and irresponsible."
How it sounds in your head: I have seven prescriptions keeping me alive. Refusing medicine to 'believe for healing' would be foolish at my age. God gave us doctors for a reason—faith doesn't mean stupidity.
"If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the LORD who heals you."
-- Exodus 15:26Religion taught that faith and medicine are opposed, creating false choice between stewardship and supernatural trust.
His physical survival depends on medical intervention, making supernatural healing feel like reckless abandonment of proven help. Wisdom seems to demand naturalistic reliance at this fragile stage.
Invalid 38 YEARS waiting by a pool for healing, Jesus spoke one command—'Rise, take up your bed and walk'—and IMMEDIATELY he was made well. No process, no medicine, just supernatural power overriding decades of condition.
I REFUSE the lie that medicine and faith oppose each other. IT IS WRITTEN: 'I am the LORD who heals you.' God is my ultimate healer, whether He uses doctors or miracles. I thank God for medical help AND I believe for supernatural intervention beyond it. IT IS WRITTEN: He 'heals ALL your diseases.' I receive both wisdom and faith. The BARAK blessing covers my health as covenant promise. I am not limited to what pills can do—the same power that raised Christ dwells in me, quickening my mortal body.
The Father isn't condemning you for taking medicine or demanding you prove faith by refusing help—He's inviting you to receive from every good gift while trusting Him as ultimate source. Like the prodigal's father who provided everything without performance, God gives wisdom, medicine, AND miracles without you having to choose which proves your faith.
