"Debt is punishment for something we did wrong spiritually."
How it sounds in your head: Maybe we didn't tithe enough. Maybe Dad sinned and this is the consequence. Church people say you reap what you sow. This must be the reaping part.
"And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross."
-- Colossians 2:13-14Religion: Karma theology disguised as Christianity, making debt a divine punishment.
Preachers quote Galatians 6:7 about reaping and sowing, and debt looks like reaping bad seeds. The timing of financial collapse sometimes follows spiritual compromise.
Most evil king in Judah's history - practiced witchcraft, sacrificed his own sons to demons, filled Jerusalem with innocent blood. Repented in captivity - God RESTORED him to his throne with full authority.
I REFUSE the lie that debt is punishment for spiritual failure. IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus WIPED OUT the handwriting of requirements against us and NAILED it to the cross. ALL punishment was taken by Christ - debt is NOT divine judgment. IT IS WRITTEN there is NO CONDEMNATION to those in Christ Jesus. The BARAK blessing doesn't operate on behavior - it operates on COVENANT. The Father isn't punishing my family through debt; the enemy is attacking what God is about to RESTORE. I receive supernatural debt cancellation as GIFT, not as reward for getting spiritually perfect. The punishment is FINISHED.
The Father already punished your family's sin - He punished it in JESUS on the cross. He's not double-billing you with debt. He's releasing provision because the price is PAID.
