"Christians say one thing on Sunday then live completely different the rest of the week."
How it sounds in your head: The guy who led worship on Sunday was drunk at the party Friday. The girl who prayed in small group is posting thirst traps on Instagram. They preach holiness then live like the world—it's all a show.
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new."
-- 2 Corinthians 5:17Source: enemy accusation using human inconsistency to make you question God's reality and power to transform.
You've seen it with your own eyes—the double life is REAL. Youth group kids who raise hands on retreats then get wasted on weekends. Leaders who preach purity then slide into DMs. The hypocrisy isn't imagined; it's documented on social media.
Lot lived in Sodom, made terrible decisions, offered his daughters to a mob, got drunk and committed incest with them—yet 2 Peter 2:7 calls him 'righteous Lot' whom God RESCUED. His terrible choices didn't disqualify God's covenant protection; angels physically dragged him out before judgment fell.
I REFUSE the lie that inconsistent Christians invalidate the Gospel. IT IS WRITTEN that if anyone is in Christ, they are a NEW CREATION—God's power to transform is not diminished by people's resistance. I am not responsible for their journey; I am responsible for MINE. IT IS WRITTEN that each servant stands or falls to their own Master, and I will not let their stumbling become MY excuse. The BARAK blessing covered Lot the drunkard, Abraham the liar, David the murderer—covenant is not based on perfect behavior but on God's PERFECT FAITHFULNESS. I am the righteousness of God in Christ, not because I'm consistent but because HE IS. I walk in truth, grace, and the supernatural power to live what I believe, because greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.
The Father isn't asking you to fix everyone else's walk—He's asking you to receive His love so fully that your life becomes the answer to their hypocrisy. He's not waiting for them to get it together; He's transforming YOU into the real deal, the walking proof that His grace actually works.
