"Being unwanted as a child means I'll die unwanted—it's too late to change the story."
How it sounds in your head: You're in your sixties. The script is written. You started unwanted, you lived as an outsider, and you'll die the same way. You can't rewrite sixty years. The story is set. It's too late for a different ending.
"So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust."
-- Joel 2:25Hopelessness curse convincing you that early rejection determines final outcome and redemption is impossible.
You're looking at decades of patterns and evidence. You've tried to change the narrative and it keeps circling back. At this age, you feel like the concrete has set. The story feels finished.
The thief was dying—literal final hours, lifetime of crime behind him, nailed to a cross with zero chance of rewriting his story. He said one sentence of faith. Jesus responded: 'TODAY you will be with Me in Paradise.' From condemned criminal to redeemed son in his last breath. NEVER too late.
I REFUSE the lie that it's too late to change my story. IT IS WRITTEN that God restores the YEARS the locust has eaten—He redeems decades, not just days. My story isn't over until He says it's over, and He's writing a redemption ending. The thief on the cross found Paradise in his last breath—it's NEVER too late with God. IT IS WRITTEN that I am a new creation in Christ—old things have passed away, all things have become new. My beginning doesn't determine my ending. God does. And He's writing 'WANTED, LOVED, CELEBRATED' over my final chapters.
The Father looks at your sixty-plus years and says, 'I'm not done. I'm restoring every stolen year, rewriting every broken chapter, and your final act will be the best one. You're wanted NOW, and that's what counts.'
