"Being too passionate and intense makes me exhausting and unacceptable to God and others"
How it sounds in your head: I'm always too much—too loud, too emotional, too passionate. I've spent fifty years trying to tone myself down, make myself smaller, be more acceptable. Even now I wonder if God wishes He'd made me quieter, calmer, more controllable.
"Then Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took the timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances. And Miriam answered them: 'Sing to the Lord, for He has triumphed gloriously! The horse and its rider He has thrown into the sea!'"
-- Exodus 15:20-21Religion taught containment as holiness, world said feminine intensity is hysteria, trauma from being silenced.
A lifetime of being told to calm down, lower your voice, stop being so dramatic creates deep shame about your God-given wiring. When even the church asks you to be less, you assume God agrees with them.
Miriam grabbed her tambourine and led ALL the women in wild, loud, passionate dancing and singing right on the shores of freedom. God didn't ask her to calm down—He called her a prophetess and recorded her song forever.
I REFUSE the lie that my passionate intensity is too much for God or anyone else. IT IS WRITTEN that Miriam led explosive worship and God called her prophetess—my fire is prophetic design, not personality disorder. I am the BARAK blessing in motion, bringing life and energy everywhere I go. IT IS WRITTEN in Psalm 139:14 that I am fearfully and wonderfully made—every ounce of passion was intentional, not accidental. I am not exhausting—I am AWAKENING. The Father didn't give me this intensity to suppress it but to RELEASE it for His glory.
The Father is running toward you with tambourines, saying 'FINALLY—someone who won't worship Me quietly!' He made you loud on PURPOSE, passionate by DESIGN, because a world half-asleep needs someone who burns bright enough to wake them up.
