"Bankruptcy or financial collapse means God has abandoned me and I've lost His favor."
How it sounds in your head: You feel like the rug was pulled out and God wasn't there to catch you. You wonder if He's punishing you or if you did something to lose His protection. The financial freefall feels like spiritual rejection.
"All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out."

If God loved you and was with you, wouldn't He have prevented this collapse? The loss feels like proof you're on your own, outside His favor and protection.
She was at absolute rock bottom—widowed, in crushing debt, creditors literally coming to take her sons as slaves. This was complete financial and family collapse. God didn't abandon her; He multiplied oil until ALL debt was paid and she had surplus.
I REFUSE the lie that financial collapse means God abandoned me. IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus will NEVER cast me out—by no means, under no circumstances (John 6:37). IT IS WRITTEN that He will NEVER leave me nor forsake me (Hebrews 13:5)—not 'never unless you go bankrupt,' but NEVER period. The widow whose creditors were taking her children wasn't abandoned—God showed up with TOTAL debt cancellation in ONE DAY (2 Kings 4:7). My bank account doesn't measure His favor; His blood covering me is my favor. I am the righteousness of God in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:21), and that doesn't change with my credit score. The BARAK blessing protected Abraham in famine—provision is my covenant right. I receive supernatural turnaround, divine intervention, and proof of His presence in my finances NOW.
Your Father didn't abandon you in the collapse—He's right there in it with you, already working the turnaround. Your worst financial moment is where He shows up biggest, like He did for the widow about to lose her sons.
