"Adults won't take me seriously because of how I look or sound."
How it sounds in your head: Your voice is still high. You're short. You look like a kid. Nobody takes kids seriously in important conversations. You'll be heard when you look older.
"For the LORD does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart."
-- 1 Samuel 16:7Enemy lie attacking identity through appearance to silence prophetic voice.
His voice cracked in class and everyone laughed. Adults bend down to talk to him like he's still a little kid. He gets called 'little man' patronizingly.
David was the youngest, smallest, least impressive-looking of Jesse's sons—so unimpressive his dad didn't even call him when the prophet came. God chose him ANYWAY and anointed him king on the spot, bypassing all the bigger, older, better-looking brothers.
I REFUSE the lie that my voice, size, or appearance disqualifies me from being heard. IT IS WRITTEN that man looks at outward appearance but God looks at the heart, and He chose ME. My authority doesn't come from how I look or sound—it comes from WHO lives inside me. IT IS WRITTEN that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me, and that includes speaking with heaven's authority regardless of how my voice sounds. The BARAK blessing makes me blessed in every place, in every situation. I am who GOD says I am.
The Father isn't waiting for your voice to deepen or your height to increase—He's celebrating the REAL you right now. He made you exactly as you are on purpose, and He's not embarrassed by His handiwork.
