"Abuse is our family pattern—someone's always hurting someone."
How it sounds in your head: You were abused, your sister was abused, now you're hearing whispers about your granddaughter. It's like evil finds your family. You couldn't stop it then, you can't stop it now—this darkness just follows your bloodline.
"No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me, says the Lord."
-- Isaiah 54:17Trauma: Abusers and demons both whisper that abuse is destiny, keeping victims silent and hopeless across generations.
She's witnessed or experienced physical, emotional, or sexual abuse across multiple generations. The patterns feel demonic and unstoppable. At seventy-nine, she's horrified to see hints of abuse potentially touching her grandchildren.
Tamar was raped by her half-brother Amnon—devastating abuse within the royal family. God didn't hide this story; He recorded it and ultimately her line led to redemption. Her descendant would be the MESSIAH—abuse didn't define her legacy, JESUS did.
I REFUSE the lie that abuse defines my family. IT IS WRITTEN in Isaiah 54:17 that NO WEAPON formed against us shall prosper—abuse is a weapon and it WILL NOT WIN. IT IS WRITTEN in Psalm 91:10 that no evil shall befall us, no plague shall come near our dwelling. I speak PROTECTION over my children and grandchildren in Jesus' name. The BARAK blessing that protected Jacob's family even through violence protects MY family. God is our REFUGE and FORTRESS (Psalm 91:2). The pattern stops TODAY.
Your Father sees every wound across every generation and His rage burns against the abusers—not against you. He's gathering you and your daughters and granddaughters under His wings like a mother hen (Matthew 23:37), declaring 'NO MORE. They are MINE.'
