"You're dying. There's no time left for breakthrough or answered prayer."
How it sounds in your head: Hospice is here. Weeks, maybe days. That prayer you've prayed for decades? It's over. That prodigal son? You'll die without seeing him saved. That dream? Buried with you. Time ran out.
"And Jesus said to him, 'Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.'"
-- Luke 23:43Enemy using physical timeline to deny eternal NOW of God and the thief's last-minute salvation.
The doctor's prognosis. The morphine drip. The family gathering to say goodbye. Every physical indicator confirms time is up.
Isaiah told Hezekiah 'Set your house in order, you shall die and not live.' Hezekiah prayed ONE prayer. Before Isaiah left the courtyard, God sent him back with 15 MORE YEARS. The death sentence was REVERSED mid-sentence.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm out of time. IT IS WRITTEN that the thief received Paradise in his last hours, and Hezekiah's death sentence was reversed before the prophet left the building. God is not limited by prognosis or timelines. IT IS WRITTEN that with God one day is as a thousand years - He can fit a lifetime of breakthrough into my final moments. The BARAK blessing isn't time-sensitive. Isaac blessed Jacob thinking he was about to die, and lived DECADES more. I am blessed in my coming in and going out, in my first breath and my last.
The Father who gave Paradise to a dying thief is running toward you with answers to prayers you thought expired. He's not a deadline God - He's an eternity God, and your next breath has as much potential as your first.
