"Your sexual sin in the past disqualified you from anointing and authority now."
How it sounds in your head: The pornography. The affairs. The lustful decades. You think God will use other men but not you—not after what you've done. You can attend church but never lead. You're permanently tainted, unfit for anything significant in God's kingdom.
"And such WERE some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God."
-- 1 Corinthians 6:11Source: Religious shame that ranks sexual sin above all others; spiritual caste system that forever marks certain sinners.
You remember every face, every hotel, every click. The guilt resurfaces during worship. You've heard preachers say sexual sin is 'different' because it's against your own body. You feel like damaged goods, permanently disqualified from spiritual authority.
Rahab was a professional prostitute—her entire identity was sexual sin. God not only saved her and her family, but put her in the MESSIANIC LINE. She's listed in Matthew 1 as Jesus' great-great-grandmother. Sexual sin didn't disqualify her from the highest honor.
I REFUSE the lie that my sexual past disqualifies me. IT IS WRITTEN: 'Such WERE some of you. But you were washed, sanctified, justified' (1 Corinthians 6:11). My identity is no longer 'adulterer' or 'porn addict'—it is SAINT, RIGHTEOUS, BELOVED SON. IT IS WRITTEN that as far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed my transgressions (Psalm 103:12). The BARAK blessing doesn't check my browser history. I am Abraham's seed, and Abraham's lineage includes prostitutes and adulterers—all redeemed, all honored.
The Father isn't replaying your worst moments. He's looking at the blood of His Son and declaring you CLEAN. He put a prostitute in the Messianic line. Your sexual history doesn't scare Him or limit His plans for you.
