"Your children have moved on with their lives. You're no longer central to anyone's daily world."
How it sounds in your head: I raised them. Poured everything into them. Now they're busy with their careers, their kids, their lives. I get a text on my birthday if I'm lucky. They used to need me for everything. Now I'm just the guy they visit out of obligation twice a year.
"How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand; when I awake, I am still with You."

Joseph's father Jacob thought he was dead for 22 years—forgotten, gone, never to be seen again. Then came the message: 'Joseph is still ALIVE, and he is governor over all the land of Egypt!' What looked like permanent invisibility was actually divine positioning for the greatest reunion of Jacob's life.
I REFUSE the lie that I am peripheral to anyone's world. IT IS WRITTEN that God's thoughts toward me outnumber the sand—I am CONSTANTLY on the Father's mind. I reject measuring love by frequency or proximity. My children carry my legacy whether they call daily or monthly. IT IS WRITTEN that I am the head and not the tail, above only and not beneath. The BARAK blessing doesn't diminish with age—I am increasingly valuable to the Kingdom. My significance is not in who needs me, but in who CLAIMS me as His son.
Your Father is whispering: 'Finally! Now that they're launched, can We spend time together? I've been waiting to show you who you are beyond 'Dad.' I see you—not the role you played, but the SON you've always been.'
