"You'll never escape the shame of what you've seen or done sexually."
How it sounds in your head: That curiosity, that click, that moment—it's on you forever. You're damaged goods now. If anyone knew, they'd be disgusted. God sees it all and you can't undo it.
"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
-- 1 John 1:9Enemy: Sexual shame to destroy identity before it's fully formed
Images replay in your mind. You feel dirty. Church talks about purity like it's glass—once broken, always broken. You've heard 'your body is a temple' and feel like yours is already vandalized.
Rahab was a professional prostitute—her entire identity was sexual sin. The moment she sided with God's people, she was IMMEDIATELY brought into the covenant family and later placed in the MESSIANIC LINE—Jesus' own genealogy.
I REFUSE the lie that sexual shame defines me or disqualifies me. IT IS WRITTEN that He is faithful to cleanse me from ALL unrighteousness—not most, ALL. The blood of Jesus speaks BETTER THINGS than my past, my curiosity, my mistakes. IT IS WRITTEN that though sins are scarlet, He makes them white as snow—INSTANT, not gradual. I am the righteousness of God in Christ, washed, sanctified, spotless. Father runs toward me with the robe of purity, celebrating my FUTURE, not condemning my past.
Father doesn't see damaged goods—He sees His daughter wrapped in the righteousness of Christ, spotless, pure, as if it never happened. He's running with the white robe, not the shame list.
