You've only seen healing at conferences with famous speakers or in missionary stories about 'anointed' leaders. Your youth pastor doesn't pray for healing like it's normal, so you assume it requires a level of faith or gifting you don't have.

I REFUSE the lie that healing is only for spiritually elite Christians with special anointing or gifting. IT IS WRITTEN that Peter made it clear healing didn't flow from his own power or godliness, but from JESUS. I don't need to be a pastor or missionary—I need to recognize that CHRIST IN ME is the same power that raised the dead and opened blind eyes. IT IS WRITTEN that these signs follow those who BELIEVE, and I am a believer. I am Abraham's seed, under the BARAK blessing, and I carry resurrection power because the Holy Spirit lives in me. I am fully equipped to lay hands on the sick and see them recover because HE is the healer, not me.
