"Waiting patiently is more spiritual than expecting breakthrough now."
How it sounds in your head: Maybe I'm being presumptuous expecting immediate answers. The spiritual thing is patient endurance, not demanding instant results. I should learn contentment in the wait rather than always pressing for breakthrough. Patience is a fruit of the Spirit, after all.
"Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise."
-- Hebrews 10:35-36Religious teaching that spirituality equals passive acceptance and that expectant faith is presumption.
Every religious voice praises patience and warns against presumption. 'God's timing' sermons sound humble while 'breakthrough NOW' sounds arrogant. He's been taught that wanting immediate results is fleshly impatience, not spiritual faith.
Blind beggar started shouting for Jesus. Crowd told him to be QUIET—stop being presumptuous. He shouted LOUDER. Jesus stopped, called him, and healed him IMMEDIATELY, saying 'your faith has made you well.' Urgency was REWARDED, not rebuked.
I REFUSE the lie that passive waiting is more spiritual than expectant faith. IT IS WRITTEN: do not cast away your confidence—pressing for breakthrough is FAITH, not presumption. I am Bartimaeus shouting LOUDER when told to be quiet. I am the persistent widow pressing for justice. IT IS WRITTEN that the violent take the kingdom by force—holy urgency is BIBLICAL. I reject religious passivity disguised as patience. The BARAK blessing responds to faith, not to timid resignation. I declare breakthrough NOW because my God is the God of SUDDENLY.
Your Father isn't offended by your urgency—He's moved by your faith. The prodigal's father didn't say 'learn patience in the pig pen for character development.' He RAN when he saw him. Your urgency doesn't push Him away; it positions you for His immediate response.
