"This exhaustion proves I'm not strong enough for God's plan for my life."
How it sounds in your head: If I can barely handle school and basic life, how will I ever do anything big for God? Maybe I misheard His calling. Maybe His plan is for stronger people, and I need to accept I'm just not that person.
"But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty."
-- 1 Corinthians 1:27Enemy lie that God's calling is dependent on her strength rather than His strength in her weakness.
Every message she hears about 'God's calling' features stories of people doing incredible things with supernatural energy. She doesn't see models of God using tired, weak people, so she assumes she's disqualified by her limitations.
Moses said 'I'm not eloquent, I'm slow of speech and tongue—I CAN'T do this.' God's response wasn't 'get stronger first.' It was 'I WILL BE with your mouth.' Moses' weakness was the POINT—God got all the glory when the stutterer freed a nation.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm too weak for God's plan. IT IS WRITTEN: 'God has chosen the WEAK things of the world to put to shame the mighty.' He didn't choose me despite my exhaustion—He chose me BECAUSE of it. Moses stuttered. Gideon hid. Jeremiah was terrified. Paul had a thorn. Every one of them said 'I can't,' and God said 'PERFECT—now everyone will know it's ME.' IT IS WRITTEN: 'My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.' I am NOT disqualified. I am PERFECTLY positioned. I declare God's calling over my life stands FIRM, and His strength is ALREADY working through my weakness.
The Father isn't looking at your exhaustion and reconsidering His plans. He's running toward you with the same confidence He had in stuttering Moses, saying 'You're EXACTLY who I want—weak, tired, limited—so when I do the impossible through you, everyone knows it was ME.'
