"There won't be any Social Security or help when I'm old"
How it sounds in your head: I keep hearing people say Social Security will be bankrupt by the time I grow up. Politicians argue about it on TV, and my teacher even mentioned it in class. It feels like the world is falling apart and there will be nothing left for me.
"I have been young, and now am old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his descendants begging bread."
-- Psalm 37:25Enemy using fear of collapsing systems to deny God as ultimate provider
She's exposed to adult conversations and news that emphasize system failure and economic collapse. The anxiety around her feels contagious, especially when trusted adults express worry.
During a famine when all systems failed, God sent ravens - unclean birds - to bring Elijah meat and bread twice daily. Supernatural provision appeared every morning and evening without Elijah working or worrying.
I REFUSE the lie that my future depends on government systems or economic stability. IT IS WRITTEN that the righteous are never forsaken and their descendants don't beg for bread. My provision comes from my Father who feeds ravens and clothes lilies. IT IS WRITTEN that I am blessed with the BARAK blessing of Abraham, which operated even when kingdoms fell and economies collapsed. God doesn't need Social Security to take care of me. I am hidden in Christ, and He is my source. Systems may shake, but my Father's faithfulness never wavers.
Your Father is already planning how He'll provide for you in every season, completely independent of what any government or system does. He's running toward your future right now with provision you can't even imagine, just like He had ravens waiting to feed Elijah.
