"The world is ending so why start a career or build anything meaningful"
How it sounds in your head: Every news headline screams collapse. Climate disaster, economic crash, wars everywhere. Why take that job seriously or invest in skills when it'll all burn anyway? Just coast until the rapture.
"Build houses and dwell in them; plant gardens and eat their fruit. Take wives and beget sons and daughters; and take wives for your sons and give your daughters to husbands, so that they may bear sons and daughters—that you may be increased there, and not diminished. And seek the peace of the city where I have caused you to be carried away captive, and pray to the Lord for it; for in its peace you shall have peace."
-- Jeremiah 29:5-7Source: Enemy using world chaos to steal PURPOSE before this generation even starts building.
He sees inflation, housing unaffordable, political insanity, and every Christian podcast says 'we're in the last days.' Starting a career feels like rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic.
God told Noah the ENTIRE WORLD was ending in judgment, yet Noah spent 120 YEARS building an ark, raising sons, planting vineyards AFTER the flood. When the world was literally ending, God's man was BUILDING and God called it righteousness.
I REFUSE the lie that chaos means quit building. IT IS WRITTEN that even in Babylon I'm commanded to build houses, plant gardens, and INCREASE. My Father doesn't waste generations. IT IS WRITTEN in Psalm 102:18 that 'This will be written for the generation to come, that a people yet to be created may praise the Lord.' I am that generation, created for such a time as this. The BARAK blessing on Abraham made him a nation-builder in the middle of paganism. I build, create, work, and invest because I carry that same covenant blessing through Christ. Even if Jesus returns tomorrow, today I build His kingdom.
The Father is running toward you with blueprints, not evacuation plans. He's saying 'Build My son—I've given you THIS moment, THIS city, THIS generation to plant orchards that feed multitudes.'
