"The window for adventure and new experiences has closed; it's too late for dreams."
How it sounds in your head: You had your shot. The bucket list mocks you—trips not taken, risks not risked, dreams deferred until 'someday' that never came. Now your body's limited, money's tight, time's short. Dreams are for the young. You're in maintenance mode.
"Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us."
-- Ephesians 3:20Religious lie that godliness equals settling and playing it safe, weaponized by enemy to kill the Father's adventurous heart in you.
The aches are real. The retirement account is what it is. Friends are playing it safe. Society says slow down, be careful, act your age. Dreams feel irresponsible or foolish at this stage.
At 75 years old—retirement age—God told Abraham to LEAVE everything and start the biggest adventure of his life. No map, no plan, just GO. Abraham became father of nations, saw miracles, massive wealth, divine encounters—all AFTER 75, INSTANT obedience leading to lifetime legacy.
I REFUSE the lie that my adventure window closed. IT IS WRITTEN that God does EXCEEDINGLY ABUNDANTLY above what I ask or think—not past tense, PRESENT tense. I am not in maintenance mode; I am in MOMENTUM mode. The Father's dreams for me don't diminish with age; they INTENSIFY. The blessing of Abraham is mine: NEW lands, NEW promise, NEW adventure at 65 like Abraham at 75. IT IS WRITTEN I am blessed coming in and going out—going OUT means there's still TERRITORY to take. I declare: my bucket list is GOD'S assignment list, and He's funding it NOW.
The Father isn't saying 'you had your chance.' He's running toward you with a MAP in His hand, grinning: 'Ready for the REAL adventure? Everything before was WARM-UP. Now we do the impossible together—watch what I do through an old guy who trusts Me.'
