"The enemy is winning the battle for my children and I'm failing to protect them."
How it sounds in your head: I see darkness trying to influence them through friends, media, culture. I pray but feel powerless to shield them. Maybe I'm not spiritually strong enough to cover my kids.
"All your children shall be taught by the LORD, and great shall be the peace of your children."
-- Isaiah 54:13Teaching that your children's protection depends on your spiritual warfare ability instead of God's covenant faithfulness.
You see negative influences everywhere and feel responsible to pray harder, bind more, fight better. Their choices or struggles make you feel like you're losing the spiritual battle over them.
Messengers came and said his daughter was dead, don't bother Jesus anymore. Jesus said don't be afraid, only believe, went to the house, and INSTANTLY raised the twelve-year-old girl from death - gave her back to her parents alive and well.
I REFUSE the lie that the enemy is winning the battle for my children. IT IS WRITTEN that ALL my children shall be taught by the Lord, and great is their peace. My children are covenant kids, covered by the BARAK blessing that cannot be reversed. IT IS WRITTEN that the promise is to me and my children. I am the righteousness of God in Christ, and that righteousness covers my household. The enemy has NO authority over what God has covenanted to protect. My children are His, not mine to defend.
Your Father isn't waiting for you to pray harder for your kids - He's already running toward them with covenant love that surpasses your ability to protect. He sees them covered, not under attack.
